Circadian Crop Sciences LLC offers a family of regenerative pesticides that take active ingredients derived from nature and combine them with antioxidants and biostimulants to increase pest control performance and to promote healthier crops and a healthier environment. These pesticides are compliant with sustainable farm certification programs, and while other pesticides, including organic certified ones, may leave residual elements that are bad for the environment and/or human health, we leave residues that were produced by plants for the benefit of plants and that are found in supplements that humans take for better health. In fact, every ingredient in every one of our pesticides is FDA approved as either a food or food additive. When used as directed these pesticides are honeybee safe, can be used with biological pest control, crops love them, and neighbors do too.

Our essential oil-based pesticides are protected by Patent 11, 638,422 B1, which allows us to cost effectively turn pesticides that would otherwise stunt crops into growth promoters.

With OMRI Listed Circadian Sunrise Horticultural Oil, we combine peppermint oil with crude, non-GMO, corn oil. This corn oil is high in antioxidants and triacontanol! Triacontanol is a natural plant biostimulant patented by Michigan State University for increasing yields and fruit quality and helping plants to deal with environmental stresses. Plants also benefit from Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q, vitamins D3, K1, A, B1, B2, B5, iodide, zeaxanthin, linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid.

Waxes in Circadian Sunrise replace cuticular waxes that may get dissolved by peppermint oil. With Circadian Sunrise Horticultural Oil growers have an effective miticide, insecticide, and fungicide that they can safely spray between sulfur applications and even with sulfur. Circadian Sunrise is so gentle that indoor growers can spray it with the lights on and outdoor growers can spray it on all but the hottest mornings throughout the summer.
We developed OMRI Listed Long Shadow to provide an alternative chemistry to Circadian Sunrise and to provide better control of thrips, flea beetles, and mealybugs. Long Shadow is 30% cinnamon bark oil and is naturally high in antioxidants, triacontanol, and chlorogenic acid. It leaves a residual that leaf eating insects don’t like, so it stops them from feeding.

With our fungicide/bactericide, All Phase, we have developed a cost-effective alternative to sulfur for powdery mildew control. Agricultural sulfur sprays, because they are so numerous (48 million lbs/ year in California), contribute to asthma in children living near farms, affect the lungs of farmworkers, send more people to hospital emergency rooms than any other pesticide, and are a leading contributor to acid rain. By using All Phase, growers can easily cut sulfur use, while controlling pathogens that sulfur won’t touch. All Phase also has systemic activity. When applied to foliage the active ingredient in All Phase moves to the root zone where it can inhibit root diseases and trunk cankers without destroying soil biology.
